Role

One of our internal teams is in the need of a Senior iOS Engineer capable of building scalable code and beautiful user experience. You'll primarily be working on iOS native development, mostly using SwiftUI and a bit of UIKit.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You'll be constantly receiving customer feedback to make sure what is essential to build next. You will have the trust and autonomy to work on what you see fit and essential.

We want to build new features and improve our existing products like Media, Video and Chat. We look for people who pay attention to detail, who have a design sense, and most importantly: have compassion for our users.

You will play an important part in our mobile engineering practice, implementing new features, improving performance, and building beautiful user interfaces.

A taste of our scale and reach:

• Our most active Users spend over 6 hours active and send +1000 messages per day.
• We plan to adopt 200,000 active college student users this fall.

What you'll work on daily

• Building from scratch our iOS native messenger, using SwiftUI and UIKit
• Drive best engineering practices within your team(s) and define and teach these
• Build new features across our iOS
• Architect elegant and maintainable code with a focus on autonomy and support from the team
• Work on meaningful projects that allow for users to have more delightful conversations
• Work with your squad to product features across the UX
• Work with designers to develop delightful interfaces and experiences
• Using experiments and user research to iterate and learn
